Reduction pipeline
The TIGRE/HEROS data reduction pipeline (current version v3.1
Download (511 MB!)) is implemented in IDL (Interactive Data Language) and
based on the IDL reduction package REDUCE written by Piskunov and Valenti (2002). It is a
fully automatic data reduction pipeline. This pipeline includes all necessary data reduction steps for
the Échelle spectra. Furthermore, an automatic wavelength calibration is performed.
Also, the barycentric velocity correction is calculated and written in the fits header. The reduced
data are stored in the TIGRE archive. In the follow flow chart the general structure is shown. The
description of the current pipeline is coming in the next weaks.
